NĀNO LAṬKAN, BHĀĪ, a Bindrāo Khatrī, was initiated a Sikh by Gurū Arjan. The Gurū instructed him in the virtue of humility. Bhāī Nāno lived up to the time of Gurū Hargobind and, according to Bhāī Santokh Siṅgh, Srī Gur Pratāp Sūraj Granth, came to be known as a skilled archer. He was killed in the battle of Ruhelā in 1629.
