NIHĀLŪ, BHĀĪ, who hailed from the hill region, was a devoted Sikh of Gurū Arjan's time. He was known for his hospitality towards visitors and travellers. He once visited Amritsar and had the privilege of receiving instruction at the hands of the Gurū himself. The name occurs in Bhāī Gurdās, Vārāṅ, XI. 23.
