<p class="C1">&#65279DASAUNDH&#256 SI&#7748GH, a &#7692hillon Ja&#7789&#7789 of Jhabal in Amritsar district, was half-brother of the celebrated Baghel Si&#7749gh, leader of the Karo&#7771si&#7749gh&#299&#257 <i>misl</i>. He crossed the Be&#257s in 1759, and seized some villages in the Jalandhar Do&#257b. The family retained possession of these under Mah&#257r&#257j&#257 Ra&#7751j&#299t Si&#7749gh, supplying in return a contingent of 26 horsemen.</p>
