ḌEHLOṄ, village in Ludhiāṇā district, 19 km from the city (300-54'N, 750-52'E), claims a historical shrine, Gurdwārā Damdamā Sāhib Pātshāhī Chhevīṅ. The Gurdwārā commemorates the visit of Gurū Hargobind, who halted here while on his way from Jagheṛā to Gujjarvāl. The building comprises a domed square hall, including the prakāsh asthān, site where the Gurū Granth Sāhib is installed during the day and a cubicle where the holy book is placed for the night. A verandah covers the hall on three sides. Rooms for the laṅgar and the granthī are close by. The Shiromaṇī Gurdwārā Parbandhak Committee manages the shrine through a local committee.
