<p class="C1">&#65279DHARAM CHAND, son of Lakhm&#299 Chand and grandson of Gur&#363 N&#257nak. According to <i>Gurbil&#257s P&#257tsh&#257h&#299 Chhev&#299&#7749</i>, he received Gur&#363 Hargobind when the latter, along with Bh&#257&#299 Gurd&#257s and Bh&#257&#299 Bh&#257n&#257, went to Kart&#257rpur which Gur&#363 N&#257nak had made his dwelling place during the last years of his life. Dharam Chand received the Gur&#363 and his entourage along with other persons of the Bed&#299 clan, with honour. Gur&#363 Hargobind made him an offering of a horse and five hundred gold mohars.</p>
