<p class="C1">&#65279GU&#256L D&#256S, BH&#256&#298, son of Chho&#7789e Mall and grandson of Bh&#257&#299 Pai&#7771&#257, belonged to the family of Chhibbar Br&#257hma&#7751s, originally of the village of Ka&#7771i&#257l&#257, Jehlum district, now in Pakistan, who served successive Gur&#363s from Gur&#363 Arjan (1563-1606) onwards. According to Bha&#7789&#7789 Vah&#299 records, he accompanied Gur&#363 Te<u>gh</u> Bah&#257dur (1621-75) on his journey to the eastern parts in 1665-70.</p>
