GURDITTĀ, BHĀĪ, a devoted Sikh of the time of Gurū Arjan. He received instruction from the Gurū himself and repeated constantly the name 'Vāhigurū'. Thus he remained absorbed in God's remembrance (Vārāṅ, XI.24).
