<p class="C1">&#65279K&#256HN SI&#7748GH, of Fateh&#257b&#257d in Kap&#363rthal&#257 district of the Punjab, was an associate of Bh&#257&#299 Mah&#257r&#257j Si&#7749gh, leader of the revolt against the British in 1848-49. He joined him at Amritsar early in 1848 and took part in the second Anglo-Sikh war. He was captured, with Mah&#257r&#257j Si&#7749gh near Sham Chaur&#257s&#299, in Hoshi&#257rpur district, on the night of 28-29 December 1849.</p>
