MUKANDĀ, BHĀĪ, a talented musician, was initiated into Sikhism by Gurū Arjan. He daily recited kīrtan at the morning and evening dīvāns attended by the Gurū himself. His name has been included by Bhāī Gurdās in his Vārāṅ, XI. 18.
