PARTĀP KAUR, RĀṆĪ (d. 1857), daughter of Jagat Siṅgh of Koṭ Kapūrā, now in Farīdkoṭ district of the Punjab, was married to Kaṅvar Sher Siṅgh, son of Mahārājā Raṇjīt Siṅgh, in 1825. She died on 23 August 1857, leaving an adopted son, Ṭhākar Siṅgh, aged 14 years. Ṭhākar Siṅgh was the son of her cousin, Gajjā Siṅgh. She had adopted him in 1847 and, on her death, he was granted a pension of Rs 1,800 per annum by the British.
