<p class="C1">&#65279SANDHV&#256&#7748, a small village 4 km northwest of Ko&#7789 Kap&#363r&#257 (30º-45'N, 74º-49'E) in Far&#299dko&#7789 district of the Punjab. Gi&#257n&#299 Zail Si&#7749gh, the first Sikh President of the Republic of India came of this village. He held office from 1982-1987. On the railway station, the village has since been redesignated as Gi&#257n&#299 Zail Si&#7749gh Sandhv&#257&#7749.</p>
